Mrs. Dawn Haslag

For those who don’t know me, my name is Dawn Haslag and my family has been a member of the parish for a little over 15 years.  We’ve been blessed with an incredible parish family who welcomed us in with open arms and who helped us so immensely through our darkest of days after the death of our son, Caden, on July 15, 2020.  Without our parish family who prayed, comforted us and consoled with such fervor, we wouldn’t be where we are today, so thank you!

Our family lives on my husband’s family farm in Loose Creek where we farm cattle on a little over 400 acres.   We were blessed with two boys, Caden and Easton, and two pets, our dog, Boone, and cat, Rasfuschia.  Easton is a senior at Fatima High School, an honor student, involved in basketball and track where he sprints and throws the javelin.  My husband and college sweetheart, Keith, is a mechanic for the City of Jefferson.  I grew up in Meta, was a member of St Cecilia Parish, and the daughter of Gerald and Phyllis Rehagen.  I was one of four children: one older brother, Greg, one older sister, Darla, and a younger sister, Deann.  I graduated from Vienna High School and then went onto Linn State Technical College and received a degree Design Drafting.  Shortly thereafter, I started working for MoDOT, where I worked for 30 years.  I enjoy my prayer time, arts and crafts, reading, baking, traveling and spending time with family and friends.

I’m so excited to start this new chapter and begin giving back to the family who has given us so much.  Stop by anytime to see me in the office and introduce yourself if I’m a new face to you or to just say HI if we are already acquainted!
